Drumline

In the fall, the drumline performs as part of the Charger Band, but starting in December they start their indoor season. 

Indoor Drumline is a separate opportunity for the percussionists in the marching band and concert wind ensemble. This is a competitive group that happens December through April. Students prepare a show that is evaluated by a panel of expert judges. In doing so, they learn teamwork, leadership, musicianship, and physical skills.

The ensemble is made up of all percussion instruments and learns choreography along with their show music. Each year’s show has a different theme with which the students can engage.

Members of the Winter Percussion Ensemble enjoy the opportunity to work with experienced, highly skilled coaches who specialize in percussion. Students enjoy the performance opportunities. Students build their ability to focus on goals, strategize ways to achieve these goals, and celebrate the success!
